Kenan Nasibov wins U-23 European judo gold in Moldova

Azerbaijani judoka Kenan Nasibov (+100 kg) won the U-23 European Championship held in Chișinău, the capital of Moldova.

Axar.az reports that in the final, Nasibov defeated Poland’s Jakub Sordili to claim the gold medal.

Another Azerbaijani finalist, Ömar Rəcəbli (81 kg), lost to Italy’s Manuel Parlati and took the silver medal.

Our representatives Vugar Talibov and Aslan Kotsoyev (90 kg) faced each other in the fight for third place. Kotsoyev defeated his opponent to win the bronze medal.

It should be noted that yesterday, Azerbaijani judoka Islam Rahimov (66 kg) became European champion.
