Paralympic gold medallist Paige Greco dead at 28

Australian paralympic gold medallist Paige Greco has tragically died aged 28.

Axar.az informs, citing the Sun, the cyclist passed away at her home in Adelaide on Sunday after a “sudden medical episode”.

Greco, who suffered from cerebral palsy, won three medals at Tokyo 2020, including a gold in the Pursuit C1-3 3,000 individual pursuit event.

While back in August she earned bronze in the Para-Cycling Road World Championship in Belgium.

Paying tribute, AusCycling added: “Across her career, Paige claimed multiple World Championship titles and World Cup medals, including a 2025 World Championship bronze in the Road Race, and consistently helped raise the standard of para-cycling on the international stage.
