UEFA fines Qarabag for racist fan behavior

The UEFA Disciplinary Committee has punished the Qarabag club.

Axar.az reports that the reason for this was the behavior of the fans of the Aghdam representative's U-19 team during the match against Chelsea at home in the 4th round of the UEFA Youth League.

The fans of the "Kohlen Atlar" used racist language towards the opponent's player. UEFA fined Qarabag 5,000 euros for this.

The club was also given a conditional penalty of holding the next home match without fans. If Qarabag fans commit racist acts again during this period, the penalty will come into effect.
