Messi breaks Ferenc Puskas’ assist record in MLS

Lionel Messi, a footballer for the US club Inter Miami, has set a new record.

Axar.az reports that the 38-year-old striker achieved this in the MLS Cup semi-final against New York City.

Messi, who was remembered for one assist in the match, brought the number of assists in his career to 405.

Thus, the Argentine star player broke the record of the legendary Ferenc Puskás.

It should be noted that Inter Miami defeated New York City 5:1 and qualified for the final.
