Xabi Alonso declines Marseille head coach offer

Xabi Alonso has rejected the offer to become the head coach of French club Marseille.

Axar.az reports that according to the source, the 44-year-old Spanish specialist was not satisfied with the offer of the French club and the unstable situation in the team.

It should be noted that on February 11, after a 0:5 defeat to PSG, Marseille announced the resignation of Roberto De Zerbi. Xabi Alonso terminated his contract with Real Madrid by mutual consent on January 12 and is currently unemployed.
