Eddie Howe comments on first-leg victory over Qarabag

Newcastle’s return match against Qarabag will be serious.

Axar.az reports that Newcastle’s head coach Eddie Howe said this at a press conference following their first-leg UEFA Champions League play-off match against Qarabag.

“We have a Premier League game against Manchester City. Our return match against Qarabag will also be serious. We were the dominant side in the first match. We were disappointed by the goal we conceded,” Howe said.

The Qarabag vs. Newcastle match ended in a 6–1 victory for the visiting team.
