One of Germany's legendary footballers, Herd Müller, has died at the age of 75.

Müller was suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
Müller, who won the Golden Boot at the 1970 World Cup, was a top scorer seven times in Germany and four times at the European Champions Cup. The striker, who has played for Nordlingen, Bayern Munich and Forveters during his career, has scored 480 goals in 565 appearances. Herd Müller, who has made 628 official appearances so far, has scored 549 goals in those matches.
