Tokyo 2020: Azerbaijan won the 11th gold - New record

Azerbaijani swimmer Vali Israfilov won a gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic Games.

Axar.az reports he was ahead of all his rivals in the 100-meter breaststroke with a result of 1 minute 04.86 seconds.

Israfilov also broke the Paralympic record.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani team, which currently has 11 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals, is in 10th place in the medal standings.
