At the U-20 European Championship held in Spain, the Greco-Roman wrestling competitions have been concluded.

Axar.az reports that our national team, which won two gold, two silver and two bronze medals, became the European champion in the team score by scoring 144 points. This is the highest score of our U-20 Greco-Roman wrestling team at the continental championships. Georgia (134) took second place, and Turkiye (113) took third place.

It should be noted that among our wrestlers Elmir Aliyev (55 kg) and Ruslan Nurullayev (72 kg) won gold medals, Davud Mammadov (77 kg) and Mazaim Mardanov (130 kg) won silver medals, and Faraim Muatafayev (63 kg) and Kanan Abdullazade (67 kg) won bronze medals.
