For three years I played in the same team - Chavez. Everything was to my heart's content there, I felt comfortable. Later, an offer came from "Qarabagh" and it caught my attention. It was interesting not only for me but also for my family. Therefore, I did not hesitate to make a decision and accepted the offer without thinking.

Axar.az reports that the new transfer of "Qarabagh" Juninho said this in an interview with the club's official Youtube channel while talking about his transfer to the representative of Agdam.

The Brazilian football player said that the adaptation process is very easy and going well:

"Having Brazilian players in the team makes this process easier and faster. My teammates, coaching staff and other employees treat me very well. The adaptation is better than I expected."

According to the 27-year-old winger, who will take part in the Champions League for the first time, the "horses" will fulfil his childhood dream:

"I will try to be as ready as possible for those games. The team, the coaching staff and the fans have high expectations of me. I am waiting for the games to start."

Although Juninho said that he was ignorant of Azerbaijani football, he emphasized that he knows the Aghdam club well.

"I have known Kadi Borges for a long time. He was my neighbour. We have a good relationship with our families. When Kadi moved to "Qarabagh", I was very happy for him and started following this team. Later, my other friend Julio Romao also came here. I thought that one day such an offer would come. if it comes, why should I not appreciate it. This opportunity arose, and I willingly agreed."

It should be noted that "Qarabagh" signed a 3-year contract with Juninho.
