The English club "Liverpool" is preparing to strengthen its team with a new player.

Axar.az reports that according to the information spread by the famous insider Fabrizio Romano, "Reds" have reached an agreement with "Brighton" regarding the transfer of defender Moyses Caicedo.

The Merseyside club will pay 126 million euros for the 21-year-old Ecuadorian. The transition can be announced today.

If the transfer takes place, Caicedo will be the most expensive defender in football history. Currently, this name belongs to Yoshko Guardiola, who transferred from German "Leipzig" to English "Manchester City" for 90 million euros.

Caicedo was transferred from the Belgian "Berschot" to "Brighton" in January 2022. He scored one goal and one assist in 47 matches last season.
