Another Azerbaijani para taekwondo player won a gold medal at the European Paralympic Championship.

Axar.az reports that according to the information provided by the National Paralympic Committee, Abulfaz Abuzarli, who performed at 80 kg, climbed to the top of the podium.

It should be noted that so far Azerbaijani athletes have won 10 medals in the continental championship. Shahana Hajiyeva (judo, 48 kg) and Khanim Huseynova (judo, 70 kg) became European champions. Ilham Zakiyev (judo, +90 kg), Dursadaf Karimova (judo, +70 kg), Namig Abasli (judo, 73 kg), Royala Fataliyeva (taekwondo, 52 kg) silver, Sabir Zeynalov (taekwondo, 58 kg), Ismayil Muradov (judo, 60 kg), Amin Shikhaliyev (taekwondo, 63 kg) and Khatira Ismiyeva (judo, +70 kg) won the bronze prize.
