UEFA has punished Ismayil Kartal, the head coach of the Turkish Fenerbahce team.

Axar.az reports concerning the official website of the European football organization that this was caused by the late start of the second leg between "Twente" and the representative of Istanbul in the playoffs of the Conference League.

The 62-year-old specialist was suspended for one game for delaying the start of the match. The club was fined 25,000 euros. In addition, the representative of Turkiye suffered additional damage of 3,000 euros due to the behaviour of the fans.

It should be noted that Fenerbahce defeated Twente with a score of 5:1 in the match in Istanbul and qualified for the group stage.
