Azerbaijan's mini-football team reached the 1/4 finals of the world championship held in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

Axar.az reports that our national team faced Portugal in the 1/8 finals.

Having won all three matches in Group G, Elshad Guliyev's team continued their successful series by beating their opponent with a score of 3:0. Mirmehdi Rzayev scored in the 30th minute, Elvin Alizade in the 46th minute, and Ravan Karimov in the 49th minute.

Our national team will face the winner of the Bulgaria-England pair in the 1/4 finals. The match for the qualification to the semi-finals will be held on November 2.
