The famous Turkish referee has finished his career

The well-known Turkish football referee Mete Kalkavan has finished his career.

Axar.az reports that the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) released information about this.

"Kalkavan has been appointed to the position of VAR training manager at Hakimler Academy. We thank him for his services and wish him success in his new position", the information stated.

It should be noted that in 2017, M. Kalkavan was the head referee of the match between "Garabagh" and "Samtredia" (Georgia), which took place within the framework of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
