Zvonimir Boban said he was quitting UEFA

Zvonimir Boban, the former midfielder of the Croatian national team and the Italian club "Milan", has left the post of the head of the UEFA Football Department.

Axar.az reports concerning UEFA that the contract of the 56-year-old functionary was terminated by mutual agreement.

It should be noted that the former midfielder allegedly resigned due to the decision that Aleksander Ceferi will remain as UEFA president until 2031.

Let's remind you that Z. Boban joined the organization in 2021. He initiated important projects such as the creation of the UEFA Football Council and the Youth Football Forum.
