Forty-two people were arrested at the protest in Novi Sad, Serbia’s Minister of Interior, Ivica Dacic, told Radio Television of Serbia RTS on Saturday.

Axar.az informs according to him, 13 policemen were injured. There is no official information on how many citizens or students were hurt.

Clashes began after police started to push people away from the Faculty of Philosophy.
