Armenian, Turkish officials to discuss railway restoration

An Armenian official announced on Tuesday that a new meeting with Turkish authorities will take place soon to address the restoration and relaunch of the Gyumri-Kars railway.

Axar.az informs, citing Armenian media, Vice Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan, who is the Armenian Special Representative for Normalization with Turkiye, made the announcement at a press briefing.

"An interdepartmental meeting on the restoration and relaunch of the Gyumri-Kars railway will take place in the near future. Further details will be provided afterward,” he told reporters.
