Ukraine strikes Kaleykino oil pumping station

Ukraine has carried out UAV strikes on the Kaleykino oil pumping station near the city of Almetyevsk in Russia’s Tatarstan region.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that the strikes triggered a major fire. The facility, located more than 1,000 km from the Ukrainian border, pumps crude oil directly into the Druzhba oil pipeline.

The station is owned by Russia’s Transneft company, the reports said.
