Russia claims UK and France plan nuclear transfer to Ukraine

The United Kingdom and France are preparing to arm Ukraine with a nuclear bomb, according to Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, European countries intend to disguise the transfer of the weapon by presenting it as a Ukrainian-made development.

“It is believed that Ukraine needs to be supplied with a ‘wunderwaffe,’” the SVR press bureau said in a statement. “Berlin has prudently refused to take part in this dangerous venture.”

The Russian agency claims that London and Paris are currently attempting to organize the transfer of components, equipment, and technologies to Kyiv. The SVR says that “the French compact TN75 warhead from the M51.1 submarine-launched ballistic missile is being considered.”

The SVR added that the United Kingdom and France would not be able to avoid responsibility for an alleged attempt to violate the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. “Everything secret will inevitably come to light,” the agency concluded.
