US can confirm one-third of Iran missiles destroyed

U.S. intelligence sources indicate that approximately one-third of Iran’s missile arsenal has been destroyed in ongoing U.S.-Israeli operations, while the status of another third remains uncertain, potentially damaged, buried, or inaccessible in underground bunkers.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, the same assessment applies to Iran’s drone capabilities, with roughly a third believed destroyed.

Despite these losses, Iran continues to conduct missile and drone strikes, including targeting the United Arab Emirates and the Diego Garcia U.S.-UK base, demonstrating retained operational capabilities.

The conflict, part of Operation Epic Fury, has included strikes on more than 10,000 Iranian military targets, including naval vessels, missile production facilities, and drone infrastructure.

While Central Command has highlighted the success of these operations, officials acknowledge challenges in accurately assessing Iran’s remaining arsenal due to extensive underground bunkers and tunnels with experts suggesting that Iran may still retain roughly 30 percent of its missile capabilities.
