US plans $11.9 billion military package for Germany

The United States plans to supply Germany with various types of military equipment worth a total of $11.9 billion, including radar tracking stations, MK-41 naval missile launch systems, as well as navigation and electronic warfare systems.

Axar.az informs that this was stated in a release by the U.S. State Department’s press service.

The statement noted that the deal—primarily covering naval electronics and weapons—will strengthen Germany’s security as a force for political stability and economic progress in Europe. The main contractors for the agreement will be Lockheed Martin and RTX.
