Ghalibaf slams Trump over “false claims” on Iran talks

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has accused U.S. President Donald Trump of making false statements about Tehran and warned of consequences over ongoing regional tensions.

Axar.az informs that this was told by Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf on his X account.

“The President of the United States made seven claims in one hour, all seven of which were false,” Ghalibaf said.

He also stressed that Washington will not be able to force Tehran to meet all its demands in the negotiation process.

“With the continuation of the blockade, the Strait of Hormuz will not remain open,” he said.

"They did not win the war with these lies, and they will certainly not get anywhere in negotiations either," Ghalibaf added.

It should be noted that Donald Trump claimed on his Truth Social platform that Iran had agreed to dismantle its nuclear program and was ready to hand over its enriched uranium reserves to the United States.
