Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has responded to insulting comments made by Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov.

Axar.az informs that she wrote about it on her X account.

"By its nature, a zealous regime propagandist cannot lecture anyone on either consistency or freedom.

But these caricatures will certainly not make us change course.

Unlike others, we have no strings attached, no masters, and we do not take orders.

Our only compass remains the interest of Italy. And we will continue to follow it with pride, much to the displeasure of propagandists from every corner of the world," she said.

Russian TV host Vladimir Solovyov, speaking on Russian television, directed a series of harsh insults at Giorgia Meloni, using Italian to call her a “disgrace to humanity,” a “wild animal,” “completely stupid,” and a “disgusting little woman.”

He then switched to Russian, saying that Meloni is “fascist trash who betrayed her voters,” and added that she has even betrayed Donald Trump.
