Yilmaz, Pashinyan hold talks in Yerevan at EPC Summit

Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan on the sidelines of the 8th Summit of the European Political Community.

Axar.az reports, citing TRT Haber, Yilmaz described the meeting as comprehensive and productive, noting that the sides discussed steps to enhance cooperation in transport, customs, energy, and digital infrastructure.

He also announced that a historic memorandum of understanding had been signed for the joint restoration of the Ani Bridge by Turkiye and Armenia.

The discussions further touched upon the ongoing normalization process in the South Caucasus, with an emphasis on advancing regional peace, dialogue, and stability, as well as boosting economic cooperation and strengthening contacts between the two peoples.
