Ukraine has never officially participated in operations related to the sabotage of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline and had no involvement in planning or carrying out the operation.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made the remarks.

Zelensky said Ukrainian authorities are in contact with Germany and are ready to cooperate with their European partners in the investigation. He added that the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry are already involved in the relevant proceedings.

It should be noted that the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline was damaged by powerful explosions on the seabed of the Baltic Sea in September 2022. The blasts disabled three of the pipeline’s four lines and caused a large-scale gas leak.
