Budanov says Ukraine may revive talks with Russia

Head of the Office of the Ukrainian President Kyrylo Budanov said that in the near future Ukraine would try to "revive" the issue of negotiations.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian National News, that during a conversation with journalists, Budanov noted that any negotiations are "like silence."

He added that Ukraine would try to revive the negotiation process, but immediately emphasized that a complete cessation of the war is not currently under discussion.

"We will try to revive the issue of negotiations in the near future. We hope that we will manage to achieve something from this. At least, certain signals to that effect exist. I am not saying that we will completely stop the war now. This is more of a technical part, but at the same time, who knows where it will lead," he said.

It should be noted that the Resident Telegram channel had claimed that Budanov had begun secret talks with Moscow.
