Netanyahu: Iran tried to kill one of my sons

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that Iran had tried to assassinate one of his two sons, in what appeared to be a defense of the recent and unusual agreement to extend their security protection even if he loses the upcoming election.

Axar.az reports, citing The Times of Israel, that Netanyahu made the remarks in a phone interview with pro-government Channel 14, without specifying which of his sons was targeted or providing further details about the alleged assassination attempt.

“Here is something quite unbelievable… Iran targeted one of my sons. Iran tried to kill, to murder one of my sons,” he said.
