Russian drone attack shuts Ukraine-Moldova border crossing

Russia attacked the international Vynohradivka automobile border crossing with Moldova using Shahed-type attack drones overnight on August 25.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that the strike damaged the crossing’s infrastructure, while firefighters brought the resulting blaze under control.

Passenger and vehicle traffic through the crossing has been suspended for now.

Border guards notified their Moldovan counterparts of the incident, and traffic is being redirected to other border crossings.
