Norway prepares for new king after Harald’s death

Norway’s Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store and government ministers will hold an extraordinary meeting of the Council of State on August 28.

Axar.az reports, citing the Cabinet’s press service, that the government will convene an extraordinary meeting of the Council of State at the Royal Palace, where they will meet the new king, the successor to King Harald V, who died today.

Following the meeting, a memorial ceremony will be held with the participation of government members.

It should be noted that Norway’s King Harald V died today at the age of 89.
