Ukrainian forces strike Yaroslavl oil refinery

On the night of August 28, Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces attacked the Yaroslavl Oil Refinery in Russia’s Yaroslavl Region.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the attack caused a large-scale fire at the facility.

According to the Special Operations Forces, the Yaroslavl Oil Refinery is among Russia’s five largest refineries by primary oil processing capacity, processing around 15 million tonnes of oil per year.
