In the near future, US warships and aircraft will pass through the Taiwan Strait.

Axar.az reports that Kurt Campbell, coordinator of the White House's National Security Council for Indo-Pacific issues, said this.

"Washington will continue to take calm and decisive steps to support Taiwan against Beijing's attempts to destabilize it. As part of these steps, the US will implement standard air and sea crossings through the Taiwan Strait in the coming weeks. In addition, we are working on a new road map for trade negotiations with Taiwan. With our presence, position and actions in the region, we will try to stabilize the situation in the Western Pacific against Beijing's provocative and destabilizing behaviour," the White House official said.
