Harvard University took first place in the ranking of the richest universities in the United States.

According to information, the size of Harvard's endowment fund was about 49.5 billion dollars:

"The University of Texas is in second place with $45 billion. However, Harvard has about 10 times fewer students than the University of Texas. The five richest educational institutions also include Yale ($40.7 billion), Stanford ($36.5 billion) and Princeton ($34.1 billion).

It is noted that this rating has been compiled every year since 1974. In total, the ranking includes 688 colleges and universities in the United States.
