Erdogan's response to Assad

There is no reason why diplomatic relations with Syria should not be established.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this.

"As in the past, we continue to develop our relations today. We can never have a goal or concern to interfere in Syria's internal affairs. Because the Syrian people are a brotherly people. We had talks with Mr. Assad (Syrian President Bashar Assad - ed.), including the families. There is no such thing as ``there is no tomorrow,'' Erdogan said.

It should be noted that some time ago B. Asad stressed that they are open to negotiations with Turkiye.
