The Taliban have announced their intention to build up Afghanistan's air defenses using Russian equipment.

Axar.az reports that "Forbes" published information about this.

"Anti-aircraft missile systems are the country's need. There is no doubt that Afghanistan is trying to get them and is doing everything in its power," said the commander of the Taliban forces, Gari Fasihuddin Fitrata.
