The U.S. Secret Service, responsible for the protection of high-profile individuals, has launched an investigation into a tweet by businessman and owner of X social media, Elon Musk.

Axar.az informs that this information was reported by Bloomberg.

"Musk retweeted another social media user’s post asking, 'Why do they want to kill Donald Trump?' He later added to the post, 'And no one is even trying to kill Biden/Kamala.' Musk then deleted the tweet, calling it a joke. However, the post was seen by millions of X users, including Secret Service agents. The agency is currently investigating whether the post poses a direct threat to those individuals," the report states.
