The leader of Hamas's Political Bureau, Yahya Sinwar, has disappeared.

Axar.az reports that this was announced by officials from the Qatari government.

Qatari officials involved in negotiations for the release of hostages informed the families of Israeli captives last week that HAMAS commander Yahya Sinwar has gone missing and is no longer in contact with Qatari mediators.

It should be noted that claims about Yahya Sinwar's death circulated on September 23.
