Republican Donald Trump made his first statement about Russian leader Vladimir Putin after winning the presidential election held on November 5.

Axar.az reports that he spoke about this in an interview with NBC.

Trump stated that he has not yet spoken with Putin after winning the election.

"Not yet. I think we will speak," he said in response to a journalist's question.

According to him, since the announcement of the preliminary election results, he has spoken with nearly 70 world leaders, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
