US sanctions over Iranian oil to China

The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on individuals, entities, and vessels that allegedly facilitated the shipment of Iranian oil to China.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a ministry statement.

"Today, the US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control imposed sanctions on an international network for facilitating the shipment of millions of barrels of Iranian oil worth hundreds of millions of dollars to China," it said.

The sanctions list includes five Iranians and one Indian citizen.
