China has not taken sides since the war in Ukraine began.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Geng Shuang, China’s Deputy Permanent Representative, during a UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine.

“China neither started this crisis nor is participating in it as a party. We call on others to stop shifting blame and fueling confrontation over the Ukraine issue,” Shuang said.
