Starting from the end of July this year, new border control rules will be implemented at the external borders of the European Union’s Schengen Zone.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a decision by the European Council.

Under the new decision, a phased rollout of the digital “Entry/Exit System” (EES) will begin, registering the data of all non-EU citizens crossing the EU’s external borders.
