Russian observers have registered five ceasefire violations in Syria over the past 24 hours, while Turkish specialists have recorded eight breaches, the Russian Defense Ministry stated in its bulletin on Saturday.

Axar.az reports citing TASS.

"The Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Joint Commission … has registered five cases of firing in the provinces of Hama, Aleppo," the bulletin says.

"The Turkish side has registered eight cases of ceasefire violations in Hama, Aleppo and Latakia," the document said.

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Sides and Refugee Migration Monitoring has held one humanitarian action in the Ghadir al-Bustan settlement of the Deir ez-Zor province where 500 food packages for a total weight of 2.16 tonnes were delivered.

In accordance with a decision made by Russia, Iran and Turkey - the guarantors of the Syrian ceasefire - de-escalation zones were set up in Syria in 2017. They include the Idlib Province, some parts of its neighboring areas in the Latakia, Hama and Aleppo provinces, Eastern Ghouta, as well as some areas in the Daraa and al-Quneitra Provinces in southern Syria.
