“Oil price attaches great importance for Azerbaijan”, Minister of Energy Natig Aliyev said at the panel titled “The future of energy, the future of global governance?” held as part of the 4th Global Baku Forum.

Aliyev noted that the oil price has declined four times and this is not good for oil producing countries: “But high prices are not good for consumers. We want an acceptable oil price for both producers and consumers. Low oil prices cannot last for long. The prices will gradually increase. In order for oil producing countries to invest in oil production, an acceptable price for both producers and consumers must be set”.
