Alcohol has diuretic effects that can cause you to wake up
several times at night if you drink before sleeping.
4. Chicken
Consuming a large amount of protein can slow down the speed of
digestion by 50%. This causes your body to work in the times it
should be actually resting.
5. Hot Spices
Hot spices cause heartburn and this causes a restless night in
bed.

6. Bananas
Banana contains calcium and magnesium that helps the body to
regenerate and it also guarantees a good night's sleep.
7. Milk
Milk contains tryptophan, a type of amino acid, which can
provide a peaceful sleep.
8. Jasmine Rice
Consuming jasmine rice releases glucose levels around the blood
which increases the quality of your sleep.
9. Cherries
Cherries contain melatonin that regulates your body's inner
clock.
10. Turkey
If you eat Turkey 1-2 hours before you sleep, you will sleep a
lot better. Turkey meat contains tryptophan which improves you mood
and increases the quality of your sleep.
