A serious accident involving more than 50 trucks and passenger cars took place on the M-11 highway in the Novgorod region of Russia.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the province.

As a result of the accident, 4 people died and 10 people were injured.

Helicopters of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies and Disaster Medicine Center were sent to the scene.

It is reported that a total of 45 specialists and 15 technicians are working at the scene.
