Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and commanding staff of the Ministry held a meeting with commanders and other staff officers of the frontline units.

The Defense Ministry told APA that during the meeting the minister was presented reports on current operational situation, status of combat readiness, defense system and its full application and other service related issues.

Colonel General Hasanov has tasked the commanders and chiefs to pay far more attention to combat readiness of personnel taking into account the difficult terrain and features of the area, to increase the vigilance in execution of combat duty, and to be ready to execute any given combat mission in any moment, accurately and in time.
