Lithuania condemns drone attacks on Azerbaijan

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budris held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Axar.az informs according to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the call, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided his counterpart with detailed information regarding Iran’s drone attacks.

It was emphasized that these attacks against Azerbaijani territory represent a serious violation of international law and contribute to increasing tensions in the region.

The Lithuanian minister condemned the drone strikes on Azerbaijan, expressing deep concern and reaffirming Lithuania’s solidarity with Azerbaijan. It was also noted that such attacks exacerbate regional instability.

The phone call further included an exchange of views on other matters of mutual interest.
