Gerard Pique must be thinking about life after football – as a video emerged of him practising his salon skills on partner Shakira.

But he should not hang up his boots just yet as the pair are seen laughing hysterically when the Barcelona defender makes a hash of shampooing the pop star’s locks.

Shakira posted two videos online captioning one with “Beauty salon day!” and the second video with “Now this is a proper shampoo–and he’s the best in the world!”.

At first the singer is recording herself getting her hair washed before revealing that the mystery man is her partner, Pique.

The 29-year-old star last played for Barca on January 19th in their 1-0 win over Real Sociedad – keeping a clean sheet as Neymar scoring from the spot.

Luis Enrique’s side have won four on the bounce – piling the pressure on league leaders Real Madrid.

Barca are currently third in Spain’s top flight with 41 points, behind Sevilla by one point, whilst Los Blancos are top with 43 points and a game in hand.
