Armenia violates ceasefire with Azerbaijan

Armenian armed units violated ceasefire using large-caliber machine guns with Azerbaijan 143 times on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops in one day, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on March 20.

Armenian armed units stationed in the villages Paravakar, Berkaber of Armenia’s Ijevan district, Voskevan, Dovekh, Barekhamayan,Shavarshavan villages of Noyemberyan district, villages Mosesgegh, Chinari of Berd district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces in the village Kohnagishlag of Azerbaijan’s Agstafa district, Gizilhajili, Gushchu Ayrim, Kamarli, Farahli, Gaymagli, of Gazakh district, Alibayli, Agdam, Kokhanabi villages of Tovuz district.

Moreover, Azerbaijani positions located on nameless uplands of Gadabay district came under fire from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.

Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located in Gulustan village of Goranboy district, Chilaburt, Chayli, Seysulan,Goyarkh, Yarimcha villages of Terter district, Shikhlar, Bash Garvand, Yusifjanli, Novruzlu, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Marzili, Garagashli, Shuraabad villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli of Fizulu district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as in nameless uplands on Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli and Jabrayil districts.

In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 146 strikes on enemy positions.
