Axar.az reports regarding "Pars Today" that the ambassador of Iran to Azerbaijan Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said these words in a specialized session on "Araz Corridor".

"Everyone admitted that it is impossible to implement ideas like the "Zangazur Corridor". In this context, the agreement between Azerbaijan and Iran on the creation of the Araz Corridor is a favourable opportunity," he said.

He noted that after the events that took place around Karabakh, various projects related to regional peace were put forward. According to him, although the Western countries tried to push Iran out of the region, as a result of the measures taken at various levels, this issue is now off the agenda.

The Iranian ambassador also said that with the implementation of economic initiatives in the region, there are opportunities for broad consensus.
